Delta Company Chain of Command

Capt. Z. D Johnson       1st Sgt. G. Banda

Families and Friends of Delta Company,

On behalf of the entire company staff I would like to extend the deepest appreciation and thanks to the families of our Marines and Sailors for continuously overcoming the daily challenges associated with living the Marine Corps lifestyle.  The love and support of spouses and family members is what truly enables our company to focus on our training and our mission.  Your Marines maintain an impressive reputation of excellence within this battalion, which is an accomplishment that you all have impacted greatly.

It is my honor and privilege to serve in Delta Company.  Since my arrival to the battalion I have heard nothing but praise and accolades about your Marines and Sailors, and I am excited at the opportunity to get to know each of them as we work together to advance this company further.  We will train hard to promote continuous growth and improvement in field craft, warfighting, and leadership in order to develop Marines who are able to effectively bring the fight to our enemy whenever called upon.

This company can only reach that level of success with the support and backing of those on the home front.  As it is the linchpin that holds everything together, we are committed to building and maintaining a strong Marine Corps Family Team with the help of our Battalion Family Readiness Officer (FRO), Ms. Jany K. Wasdin.  I ask that you please take the time to reach out to her, as she is a tremendous resource with a wealth of knowledge that can provide assistance to our Marines and families.

My wife and I are excited to be a part of 1st Tank Battalion, and we are especially excited to be a part of the Delta Company Family.  Thank you again for your continued support and dedication to our Marines and Sailors.  It is your support that ensures their individual success, and the combined success of our unit.  Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.

Semper Fidelis,

Capt Zachary D. Johnson
