An Iraqi policeman cuts the flexi-cuffs off a soon-to-be released man in Haditha, Iraq, May 27. A total of 23 Iraqis was selected to be freed on this day. Marines with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5 assisted the Iraqi Police with the release, but allowed the IP to run the operation. Detainees have been released twice a month in Haditha as part of the Supervised Release Program.
