Absorbing a shot from student Lance Cpl. Byron M. Dubose, 21, a wireman with Headquarters and Service Company, 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 5, Master Sgt. Michael L. Stephens, communications chief of 2nd LAR, teaches the fundamentals of boxing at Camp Korean Village, Iraq, during a sparring session March 22. The 47-year-old leader of Marines, who has served more than 28 years in the military, can now be found training Marines in his hobby: boxing. He spends his nights teaching the skills he has learned for the past eight years.
