Lance Cpl. Basil M. Callahan, a welder with Charlie Company, 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 5, holds the Raven airborne unit while Cpl. Luis E. Piris-Santiago, a scout team leader and Unmanned Air Vehicle operator with Charlie Co., holds the remote control during a system demonstration April 8 in western Anbar province, Iraq. Marines with 2nd LAR learned to fly the Raven and then got to test their skills during an operation.
