Lieutenant Col. David Everly, the outgoing commanding officer and a native of Inglewood, Calif., said goodbye to his Marines during a change of command ceremony at Camp Las Pulgas here, June 28, 2013. Everly turned the command of the battalion over to Lt. Col. Shawn Beltran, a native of Wichita Falls, Texas.
