Boyd Miller, the Port of Entry Transition Team (POETT) team leader, and Iraqi customs police officials at the port of entry in Trebil, Iraq, Nov. 3. Abdulameer, who survived three deadly insurgent attacks while working as a linguist for Coalition forces in Baghdad from 2004-2007, emigrated to the U.S. more than a year ago, but volunteered to return to his native land with the POETT.::r::::n::
