A Marine assigned to Company A, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, surfaces to board a rigid-hulled inflatable boat after conducting underwater search operations training off the coast of California, Jan. 28, 2016. The Marines and Sailors will use their dive ability to give the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit a valuable underwater search tool when it deploys later this year.
