Cpl. Scott McKenzie, a 22-year-old native of Saratoga, Calif. and an administrative clerk with Regimental Combat Team 7, was combat meritoriously promoted to his current rank, Feb. 2, here. "There's a lot more responsibility, as with any rank," McKenzie said. "You become more of a leader and begin to teach Marines the things your NCOs taught you."
