Major Weber was born in Portland, Oregon on 20 August, 1976.  In June of 1998, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the California State University of Hayward, and subsequently accepted his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps on 8 September, 1998.

                                                                        

After graduating from both The Basic School and the Infantry Officers Course in Quantico, Virginia in 1999, he reported for duty with 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment located in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  During his tour, Lieutenant Weber served as both a Rifle Platoon Commander and a Weapons Platoon Commander, which included a deployment as part of a Unit Deployment Program to Okinawa, Japan as well as a UNITAS deployment to South America and Africa.

 

Following his tour with 6th Marines, Lieutenant Weber was stationed at Marine Barracks 8th & I located in Washington, D.C. in February of 2002.  He was promoted to the rank of Captain in February of 2003. During his time at 8th & I, Capt Weber served as the Projects Manager for the Marine Corps Institute, as a Platoon Commander for Alpha Company, and also as the Executive Officer for Bravo Company.

 

Upon completion of his tour at 8th & I, Capt Weber was directed to report to the Marine Corps' Expeditionary Warfare School located in Quantico, Virginia in August of 2004. Immediately after graduating EWS, Capt Weber was directed to report to 2d Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment.  Arriving to 2/5 in September of 2005, Capt Weber deployed on the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit as the Assistant Operations Officer.  Upon his return, he assumed command of Echo Company and immediately deployed to Ramadi, Iraq in 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Following his tour with 5th Marines, Capt Weber reported to Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division in December of 2007 and assumed the billet of Operations Officer until he executed PCS orders to Rota, Spain in 2008.

 

In June of 2008, Capt Weber reported for duty with Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team Company, Europe as the Executive Officer.  He was promoted to the rank of Major on 5 January, 2009 and assumed command of Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team Company, Europe in May of 2009. 

 

In July of 2011, Maj Weber reported to 7th Marine Regiment, Twentynine Palms, California as the Commanding Officer of Headquarters Company. In January of 2012, he reported to 2nd Battalion 7th Marines as the Battalion Executive officer. 

 

 Major Weber’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars and the Combat Action Ribbon.
