Lieutenant Colonel C. K. Hall

Lieutenant Colonel Clinton K. Hall grew up in Winnemucca, Nevada, where he graduated from Albert M. Lowry high school in 1996. Shortly afterward, he enlisted in the United States Marines Corps and attended recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California. From 1997 to 2003, he served with 3d Battalion, 5th Marines, and 2d Battalion, 4th Marines aboard Camp Pendleton, California.  During this tour, he deployed twice to Japan in support of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and once to Africa in support of Operation Resolute Response.              

In 2003, Lieutenant Colonel Hall was selected for the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Program and reported to 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, in 2007. During this time, he deployed in support of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Operation Enduring Freedom.  In 2010, he reported to The Basic School aboard Quantico, Virginia, to serve as an instructor.

In 2013, Lieutenant Colonel Hall attended the Expeditionary Warfare School in Quantico and, in 2014, reported to 2d Battalion, 5th Marines. He deployed twice in support of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit out of Japan during this time.  In 2017, Lieutenant Colonel Hall reported to the Army's Command and General Staff College aboard Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.  The following year he reported to the recruiting station in San Francisco, where he served as the Commanding Officer for three years.

In 2021, Lieutenant Colonel Hall reported to the First Marine Division, where he served as the Future Operations Officer.  In March 2022, he reported to the 5th Marine Regiment as the Executive Officer and in January 2023 he assumed his current billet as the Commanding Officer of 2d Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment. 

Lieutenant Colonel Hall graduated from the University of Utah in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.  Since 2001, he has been husband to the former Jaclyn A. O'Connell and is the father of four children Kole, Kadrianna, Kalista, Kash, and one grandchild, Evangeline.
